Can I reach out to another charity partner to collaborate?

If you see that another Willfora customer is a charity similar to yours, we invite you to reach out to collaborate and learn together what's worked for them and what's working for you. It may also be a good opportunity to meet another like-minded fundraiser. 

What happens if another charity contacts me to ask about my experience?

Unless you have volunteered to be a reference for Willfora to prospective charities, if you are contacted by a fundraiser at another charity that doesn’t currently work with Willfora and is looking for a reference, you have no obligation to speak about your experience. If this happens, we suggest that you redirect them to your Willfora contact. 

While we discourage this behaviour wherever we can, we realize that the planned giving sector is a small, close-knitted community where information sharing is commonplace. Contact information for fundraisers is often also listed on charity websites, so while we do all we can to ensure a positive experience for our charity partners, this piece can be hard to contain completely. 

If you do, however, have the opportunity to ask how the fundraiser got your contact details, it can be helpful for us to ensure that all Willfora team members are keeping your information secure.
